Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, offices, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Security experience.
• First aid/CPR certification (optional).
