Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology and telecommunications location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken according to post instructions.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contact.Support emergency response activities by communicating clearly with site personnel, assisting with evacuations or restricted access procedures, and following Allied Universal post orders. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
