As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
- Assist with protection of telecommunications equipment, technology assets, and restricted work areas by observing activity and reporting policy violations or maintenance concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
