Security Officer - Weekends

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

$19.25 / Hour

• Daytime
• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
