As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will communicate with employees, visitors, and contractors while supporting site procedures and delivering exceptional customer service. - Day shift: Saturday and Sunday, 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
Pay
$16.00 / Hour
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
- Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations in accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
