About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a caring, people-first culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, yards, access points, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor employee, visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity and report unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
• Document patrol observations and incidents accurately and communicate concerns to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
