Security Officer Weekend Evening Perimeter Patrol Driver

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol Driver for a government location in Leesport, PA. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government residential care location
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience (must be documented and verifiable through references or previous employment records)
• Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (copy must be submitted as part of application process)
• Comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet, including familiarity with basic software applications, email communication, and internet navigation
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Schedule

Part Time. Saturday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sunday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

$16.75 / Hour
