Security Officer Weekend Patrol Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting observations according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or authorized entry requirements in support of site access protocols.
• Communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or public agency personnel regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters observed during the shift.

Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
