Security Officer Weekend Perimeter Patrol

About the role

As a Part-Time Perimeter Patrol Security Officer in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. This unarmed role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, legislators, and other occupants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in government facilities, verifying authorization as required and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, patrols, visitor interactions, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-Time, Daytime shifts.
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
