Security Officer Weekend Driving Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Pittsburgh, PA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture while working collaboratively and acting with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time. A valid driver's license and 1+ year clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology, media, and telecommunications location, including offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$18.75 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
