Security Officer Driving Patrol - Weekends
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or access issues.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and support visitor processing and access control procedures in accordance with site protocols.
- Assist with assigned post duties during changing conditions, including monitoring high-traffic areas, supporting after-hours coverage, and following communication procedures for incidents and/or disruptions.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
