About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Danville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the banking location, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification.
• Guard card or license.
• Customer service experience.
• Access control and badge experience.

Pay

$19.24 / hour

• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
