Security Officer - Weekdays Overnight

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related operations through visible presence and routine patrols.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and report unusual or unauthorized activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns, access exceptions, and policy-related issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for maintenance concerns, unsecured access points, and other conditions that could help to impact daily operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• All applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• All applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
