About the role
Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location as an unarmed patrol professional in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, administrative spaces, access points, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, and visitors, verifying credentials, following access control procedures, and reporting discrepancies according to site protocols.
- Support security-related operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by observing for spills, equipment issues, restricted area concerns, and/or other unusual conditions, then communicating findings through established channels.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
