Security Officer Weekday Full Time
About the role
Join Allied Universal at a dynamic healthcare location where you will help monitor access points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor screening, badge verification, and/or access control activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control authorized access for staff, patients, visitors, and vendors, while documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, access issues, and/or policy violations.
- Support front lobby and entry point operations by checking credentials, providing directions, assisting with visitor management, and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Commensurate with experience.

- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
- Knowledge of security protocols and access control systems.

DayTime: Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Tue 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM, Wed 07:00 PM - 01:00 AM, Thur 07:00 PM - 01:00 AM, Fri 07:00 PM - 01:00 AM
