About the role

As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen individuals and/or materials, and support a secure, orderly environment. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and provide attentive customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or personnel at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements, including verifying authorization and inspecting permitted items as directed.
• Monitor access points, package handling areas, and loading zones for unusual activity; report concerns, incidents, and policy violations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and complete required reports and documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business interior, perimeter, parking areas, and loading docks, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
