As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will support a welcoming environment while helping to deter security-related incidents through clear communication and attention to site procedures. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support controlled entry to restricted production, warehouse, and office areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support compliance with site-specific food production protocols, including visitor requirements, personal protective equipment requirements, and restricted-area procedures.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
