About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will engage with employees and visitors, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, verifying authorization and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Pay
$21.75 / Hour
Schedule
- Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
