Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support a secure environment by managing access points, monitoring entry activity, responding to alarm-related concerns, and assisting employees and visitors with professionalism.

Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)

Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges to ensure secure entry.

Alarm Panel Experience (B202)

Proficiency in monitoring and responding to alarm systems, ensuring a swift and effective response to any incidents.

Customer Service Experience (B219)

Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and visitors.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor, employee, and vendor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter, with attention to restricted-access locations and telecommunications or technology equipment areas.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a positive workplace environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
