Security Officer - Warehouse Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer - Access Control, you will be the first point of contact for every driver who pulls up to the site. Whether it's checking driver credentials, verifying paperwork, logging trailer and seal numbers, or directing trucks to the right dock, you need to stay alert, organized, and in control of who comes and goes.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17.50. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Schedule

Full time, first shift. Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (40 hours per week).

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required (site is not accessible by public transportation)
• Site location: Fairless Hills, PA 19030 (25 miles from Philadelphia)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass an extensive screening process
• State security license if required
• Comfortable working in an outdoor booth in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Staff the guard booth and serve as the main point of entry for all truck and vehicle traffic
• Greet drivers, carriers, vendors, and contractors in a professional manner
• Verify driver IDs, bills of lading, and delivery paperwork before granting access
• Record truck, trailer, and seal numbers and maintain accurate inbound and outbound logs
• Inspect trailers and vehicles as required by site procedures
• Direct trucks to assigned docks, parking, or staging areas
• Operate gates and monitor CCTV and access control systems from the booth
• Communicate with shipping, receiving, and site management by phone or radio
• Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, or potential threats
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Security, Military, Law Enforcement, logistics, or shipping and receiving experience a plus
