About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will create a welcoming first impression while supporting security-related operations. You will greet visitors, manage access procedures, monitor activity, respond to questions, and communicate concerns with professionalism and care. Bring a reliable, people-first approach to a collaborative team that acts with integrity and helps maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk of a healthcare location by following site-specific security-related procedures, visitor protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet patients, visitors, vendors, and staff; verify identification and access authorization; issue visitor credentials; and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor access points, reception-area activity, and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Provide directions and general assistance to patients and visitors while maintaining confidentiality and a professional presence in a healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
