As a Security Officer Visitor Checkpoint, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.
Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control operations that help to deter security-related incidents. You may conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor access according to post orders, and report unauthorized or unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns and escalating issues as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including gates, access points, and other restricted areas, noting conditions that could impact site operations.
- Complete logs, incident reports, and access records with attention to detail while helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting security-related procedures throughout the location.
Requirements
- Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Possess a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour
Schedule: DayTime, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
