Security Officer - Vehicle Production Plant

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Mount Vernon, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to site needs with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, parking lots, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required entry records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Full Time. DayTime Mon 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM, Tue 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM, Sat 07:30 AM - 07:30 PM, Sun 07:30 AM - 07:30 PM
