Security Patrol Officer for Production Plant
Doyle Security Services is seeking to hire a Security Patrol Officer in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This position ensures that our clients and their facilities are secure.
About the role
This is an outdoor position operating a company-owned pickup truck or other large vehicle for each tour, traveling to multiple locations to conduct security inspections. Responsibilities include opening and closing gates, checking locks, gates, fence lines, reservoir dams, and spillways for overflow and damage, as well as identifying remnants of campfires and camping on customer property. You will respond to trespassers, hunters, fishermen, and other individuals on the property, and write and submit timely daily, incident, and other reports electronically via a company smartphone. The role involves exposure to wildlife and rural, wooded environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate a company vehicle to travel between multiple locations for security inspections
- Open and close gates, check locks, gates, and fence lines
- Inspect reservoir dams and spillways for overflow and damage
- Identify and report remnants of campfires and unauthorized camping on customer property
- Respond to and engage with trespassers, hunters, fishermen, and other individuals on the property
- Write and submit daily, incident, and other reports electronically via a company smartphone
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Security experience preferred
- Physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
Pay
$20.00 per hour
Schedule
Wednesday to Friday: 2 PM to 10 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 6 AM to 2 PM
