As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Kingsport, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Job Schedule: DayTime, Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical and petrochemical industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and employee entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

  • Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
