As a Security Officer Utilities Service Gate in Juno Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report conditions, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, equipment concerns, and unauthorized access to appropriate site contacts.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and supporting established entry and exit procedures.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for role.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay and schedule

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour. Job Schedule: Day time, Tuesday through Friday, 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
