What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to offices, work areas, and other restricted spaces.
- Screen guests, vendors, and/or deliveries, maintain visitor logs and access records, and communicate access-related information to site contacts in a professional manner.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to post orders and location procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related conditions that may need attention.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- The ability to use a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- To be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- To possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
