Security Officer Access Gate

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Gate in Batchelor, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential verification, and/or security-related response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, vendors, and/or visitors, helping to deter unauthorized access to production, warehouse, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Support daily operations by maintaining accurate access records, following post orders, and reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
