About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Tech/Media/Telecom, you will also contribute to a dynamic, welcoming, and collaborative workplace. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the chance to explore new roles through the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and policy violations.
  • Support day-to-day site operations by providing directions, assisting with access-related questions, and following post orders for after-hours coverage, deliveries, and/or restricted areas.

Requirements

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
