Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in Northridge, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. This part-time driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with site-specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Part-time. Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
