Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a utilities location in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$19.00 / Hour

• Day shift: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday
