Security Officer - Unarmed Vehicle Driver

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will drive company vehicles to conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and support badge and access control activities. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a food and beverage production and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities through required reports and daily activity logs.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Part Time
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
