Security Officer Unarmed Roving Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Roving Patrol in Coppell, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, screening visitors according to site protocols, and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by preparing incident reports, maintaining post records, and communicating important security-related information during shift activity and/or pass-downs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Proficiency in using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification.
