Security Officer Unarmed Roving Patrol

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like financial institutions, you will also contribute to the welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting and reporting suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and employee entry as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support day-to-day operations by preparing clear incident reports, relaying important observations, and assisting with security-related requests from staff, visitors, and/or first responders.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
