Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Delta, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, unauthorized activity, and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support authorized access in accordance with location policies and procedures.
• Assist with reporting, shift activity logs, and communication of security-related information to supervisors, teammates, and/or client representatives.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
