Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Roving Patrol in Big Bear Lake, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel and resort common areas, entrances, parking areas, guest accommodations, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with onsite staff and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

A Guard Card or License is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
