Security Officer Unarmed Roving Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Roving Patrol Security Officer in Daytona Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe truck and delivery activity, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
