Security Officer Unarmed Rounds

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Rounds in Fairfield, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, Financial Institutions, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report discrepancies in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as appropriate.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
