About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Lexington, KY, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe building activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
  • Document daily activities, patrols, and incident details in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
