About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Screening in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, credential verification, and adherence to established entry procedures
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel
• Document observations, incidents, patrol activity, and security-related concerns in clear, accurate reports for Allied Universal and site leadership

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Guard card is required
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred
• Alarm panel experience is preferred
• Access control and badge experience is preferred

Pay and Schedule

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM.
