Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Retail

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, sales floor, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, observe visitor activity, and/or report suspicious behavior.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and/or de-escalation during busy periods, special events, deliveries, and other daily operations at the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
