What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control activities, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials where required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations in accordance with post instructions.
  • Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with visitor direction, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents, patrol activity, and/or client concerns.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
