Security Officer Unarmed Patrol
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and support daily security-related operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter routes to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and other security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity involving personnel, visitors, and deliveries, helping to verify authorization and reporting discrepancies according to site policy.
- Support security-related operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and sharing timely updates regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
Requirements
- A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
