Security Officer Unarmed - Production Plant

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Gaston, SC, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence that helps support orderly operations and helps deter unauthorized access or policy violations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$18.19 / hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Day shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
