About the Role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location in Seattle, WA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to riders, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, service disruptions, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, surrounding perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate services, locations, or resources.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with site-specific policies.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- State, county, or city-issued license to work in a security-related role is preferred (Guard Card or license preferred).
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
Pay
$29.93 per hour.

- Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Thursday: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM
