Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Schedule
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, observing deliveries, and documenting visitor and/or contractor movement in accordance with site procedures.
- Prepare clear reports on incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related observations, and support response efforts during medical, fire, weather, and other site emergencies.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
