Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Representative

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Representative in Swedesboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and responding to emergency and/or unusual situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, facility concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production, warehouse, loading, parking, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and deliveries, verify credentials and/or visitor logs as directed, and report policy deviations or suspicious behavior.
• Support a clean, professional presence at a food and beverage location by remaining attentive to changing conditions, communicating with site personnel, and following Allied Universal standards and site-specific policies.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
