What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, members, and staff by following site-specific procedures, assisting with directions and/or questions, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying the appropriate contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, high-traffic areas, and exterior activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and/or policy violations.
- Support retail location operations by reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and customer service concerns, and by communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
