What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel and/or visitor movement in accordance with site protocols, documenting security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports.
• Support order at the location by following post instructions, assisting with directional guidance, and addressing routine concerns in a professional manner consistent with Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
