About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Observation Specialist in Plain City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities include supporting access control, reporting observations, and providing exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, dock doors, trailer yards, parking areas, facility entrances, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and support the verification of authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers entering or leaving the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
